"Cronulla riots accused refused bail
A 19-year-old man police allege was one of the main offenders during the riots on Sydney's Cronulla Beach has been refused bail.
Samuel Murray turned himself into police yesterday after being identified in photos and video footage.
He is charged with two counts of riot and another two of affray."
When youth gangs rape, they are hit with the full force of the law... 50 year sentences.
Now the same hardline is being applied to alleged rioters, because it is BREAKING THE LAW which incurs sanctions, not belonging to one ethnic group or another!
The magistrate denied bail citing the new laws against such violent threats to public order.
Racists want something other than 'rule of law', they want misrule on the basis of skin colour or religion or ethnic group.. but that way lies social anarchy.
"The prosecution alleges he was one of the main offenders, repeatedly punching a man in the head.
Police described Murray as a thug, labelling his behaviour shameful and disgraceful.
They urged the magistrate to refuse him bail because, "the community looks to courts for protection against these thugs".
But Murray's solicitor told the court his client was only on the periphery of the violence.
"He didn't have any part in organising the event and to say he was one of the main offenders is simply wrong," the court was told."
He may have a point there, some of the organisers and ringleaders are too well politically connected and seem to be above the law;

"Murray was been refused bail and will face court again on Monday.
Overall, more than 560 people have been arrested over the riots.
Police have laid nearly 1,000 charges, and say there will be more arrests."
In the new hardline climate against racist violence, many of them will get harsh sentences.
Multiculturalism is about tolerating harmless cultural activities, but opposing violent and illegal behaviour, irregardless of ethnicity, religion or skin colour.
