Wheels of government turn slowly, how does India explain years and years and years of systemic abuse of Tamil refugees?
It's a table of contents nelly, where exactly does it say anything like what you're claiming? But from my own research I see the Tibetans are one of the few refugee groups that India does actually treat halfway decently, even if only rarely ever giving permanent residency too (something that refugees get nearly automatically in Australia after being accepted and being here a couple of years).
Afghans huh??? Funny, the UNHCR doesn't agree.....
'It does not grant status to the more than 17,000 Afghans, Somalis, and Sudanese, whom UNHCR recognizes as refugees. In a 1998 article on refugees and human rights, UNHCR's legal officer in India, Brian Gorlich, said, "This differential treatment of refugees is a fundamental problem. And lets not forget the abuse and mistreatment and theft and violence perpetrated against Sri Lankan refugees, people who are ethnically from India in the first place, and you still treat them like poo and steal from them!
So 50 times the resources to deal with the situation, and half the area to guard the borders of. And?
You don't think refugees that are systemically robbed, beaten and thrown into nazi Germany style concentration camps in India cop a few mental peoblems??? Fer f***s sake, one man with no legs was STILL chained by you cowards whilst being transported from a so-called "open" camp to one of your concentration camps. As in most things, India has a lot to be ashamed of in relation to its' treatment of refugees, and as in all things you stick your head in the sand and try to hide from the truth of the country you fled, and really don't know all that much about, because you hated the place so much you chose to live in the West instead, just like the rest of your hindutva buddies did, without exception. That in itself tells us all we need to know.
