The person you are referring to was obviously a dedicated & very courageous man, and most probably one of those great gentlemen chased out of France by the French Holocaust aka horrid French Revolution. Certainly that if he fought his own this was with tears in his eyes, and the hope of saving the life of Louis the XVII, whom many people believed still alive.
Secondly, but I think this was not intentional, the spelling of my name is Turcaud. It goes back to the old Franc tongue, and derives indeed from Turgon which meant the wild boar in the Ardennes where from the family comes from. The last minister of King Louis the XVII was Turgot,baron de l'Aulne, just one of my ancestor.. .
