At the time of the race riots in Bradford, Burnley, Oldham, the BBC aired a program which showed "no whites" areas in these cities, and local gangs of pakistani youth enforcing these areas. Is this buttimilation? Is this integration? Is this what the british people want?
I am not racist at all - for me anyone who mixes in with our value system is a brit - I dont require him to have white skin. As I have said many times, I have friends from the caribbean (who are black) and they are just as brit as I am. My problem is only with muslims who want their separate idenbreasty which is at odds with the british value system.
We built this country on some core values. These are: freedom, human rights, complete equality of women, faith in democracy. If an entire immigrant group opposes these core ideas, there is going to be total instability and tension. And we saw that in the race riots and on 7-7. How many such awakenings do we need?
Look, I have never voted BNP or anything. I am a mainstream person. Even during the race riots, I sort of blamed the BNP. But after 7-7 I think I have had enough of this. Its a recurring pattern everywhere in the world - muslims just cannot get along with non muslims. Other folks live just fine with one another. But no one can live peacefully with muslims. Why is that? Can the liberals explain that to me?
