After the fall of East Europe to communism, many of the millions of Jews who fled Poland into the Soviet Union or ended up behind the Iron Curtain changed their names to buttimilate, many civilians died in the war, many died in the concentration camps of louse-born typhus. During World War One, two million civilians in the Soviet Union died of typhus. Many died in Stalin's gulags. Documentation Center in Israel has a database of 3,000,000 alleged victims of Nazi extermination. But as you can see HERE every name is listed at least twice, some as many as five times!
Yad Vashem's 3,000,000 "Holocaust victims" database lists nearly everyone twice. Some as many at five times. Anyone, including you can submit a "Page of Testimony".
