The Alma Latina Choir has been performing their wide repertoire of vibrant Latin American music at many events, functions, festivals and fundraisers within the ACT community. They are a group of 27 people from different cultural backgrounds and 16 countries. The choir has been invited to perform at the 25th traditional "Fiesta del Fuego" (Festival of Fire) that takes place in Santiago, Cuba 3-9 July 2005. The choir is self funded and has produced an exciting new CD with songs from Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Cuba in an effort to raise the funds for this exciting opportunity to represent the Australian multicultural society in a foreign environment.
Fresh from the production line, this NEW CD is now available to a lucky lovers of Latin American music willing to support the Choir's journey to the other end of the world.
