How can a stance that dictates not giving offence to bullies do any good?
Give a bully an inch and he will take a mile - he can't help it, it is simply in his makeup.
Everyone who has ever been bullied knows there is only one real solution - you have to hit them once, hard and definite, and prove you will not put up with any of their crap.
Until you do that - you will never live a safe existance, the bully will be waiting behind every corner ready to pounce on you and make your life hell.
That is the make up of a bully - sneaky, cheating, ready to use your own good nature against you.
But one good hit is all it takes - a bully is a coward that can be easily intimidated. Remember, hiding behind that usually mbuttive and frightening exterior is the heart of a gutless weakling.
It would appear the world is currently in the grip of a new type of bully - led by immans like Mohammed Hamdan, head of Norway's Islamic Council.
The problem can be fixed - it just takes the correct leaders who have the courage to swing that one blow.
