Biased statistics fail to count as unbiased research, also. I would rather trust my own judgement. I recognize that this will never satisfy people who have managed to make use of any statistics, however unreliable, to support their prejudices, but that it not my problem. These are my observations and in the light of your statements to this point I do not expect you to understand them.
It is comforting that you have made it thus far into the real world. Your version of what feminism is seems rather removed from what all but the most extreme have been saying it is. There are radical views and there are moderate ones, all under the rubric of feminism. Your statements would have more meaning if you clarified what it is in feminism that you are attacking rather than feminism as a principle. Often it is nothing more than an idea to have men and women on an equal footing in society as far as that is possible.
You seem to me to be using a rather large hammer to crack a very small nut, but in the process you are doing damage to everything in the vicinity of the nut, including yourself.
What right have you to insist that she stay at home for all that time? If you want breast milk for your child when they are 3 and your wife agrees with you, it is possible, if inconvenient, for that to be done, owing to the invention of breast pumps and refrigerators. It would be troublesome and unnecessary in most cases, but would not prevent her having a career. It seems to me that you are using a shackling demand on her to prevent her from doing what she may be better at than you for several years - long enough to reduce her chances of competing in the work force and making sure you remain in control of the financial resources of the family.
Thank you. It may be useful for flushing the dross from postings which are rather stronger on sarcasm and invective than on what their real agenda is.
