"Price fuels my anger too ~ PM"

Oooooh.. he weally has his angwy face on;

Please support the PM in his moment of pain 4028
Zappy Well, he claims he 'feels our pain' even though he doesn't pay to fill his commonwealth car, and he claims that people talk to him all the time about the difficulties high...

On Sat, 10 Sep 2005 22:26:21 -0400, Shine that over here Maybe you should have clarified where your objection was? Do you have any proof that the charitable donations from Mecca Cola go to...

"ONE-TIME bowser boy John Howard doesn't pay for petrol as Prime Minister, but says he does feel the pain of filling up the family car."

Then he should have his prostate seen to;

When the evasive little pretender was asked on the radio when was the last time he actually had to fill a car with petrol, he ran away from the issue;

"Mr Howard declined to say when he last paid for petrol."

But the PM said he was "connected" with average motorists despite travelling by official car."

"Run those protestors down"

....

"I can butture you everyone is talking to me about the price of petrol," he said."

As usual he is deaf to their concerns. If he was to remove the regressive GST from petrol he wouldn't be able to fund promised further income tax cuts for the wealthy!

"But the PM, who served petrol as a boy at his father's Sydney garage, said there was virtually nothing he could do to force prices down."

"Virtually" nothing? Not just plain old 'nothing' he could do?

Here's the difference between the LYING RODENT and the truth.

On top of the fuel excise is the regressive GST, a tax on a tax.

With petrol at 139.6 cents a litre 12.6 cents a litre is gouged out of your pocket everytime you fill up.

Remember the $6 income tax 'cut' you got while the silvertails got $80? Well it only takes 47 litres for you to pay that back to the tory tax gougers.

The family commodore guzzles more than that each time you fill up.

tory 'tax cuts are a cruel f***ing joke for the average Aussie, you have to be in the top 20% of the wealthy to come out ahead, the elite plutocrats who are Howard's real consbreastuents.

"With prices remaining around $1.40 a litre, Mr Howard spoke to ACCC chairman Graeme Samuel yesterday about the high margin between the price of crude oil and refinery prices -- a gap that has led to accusations of profiteering."

And there's 'nothing he can do about prifiteering' either?

carole Oooooh.. he weally has his angwy face on; Now we find out that the Lying Rodent who claimed he only wished he could...

How can he protect us from determined persons if he can't even protect us from weak-as-pee white collar crooks?

Of course if he did reduce the price by eliminating profiteering then his taxes on petrol taxes would also reduce! B^p

"Mr Howard blamed Hurricane Katrina's impact on production in the Gulf of Mexico and China's embargo on fuel exports."

BWAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAAAA

That's like having an elephant in a sauna, with water to the rim, and blaming an apple that falls in for the overflow!

The United States, with only 5% of the worlds population consumes TWENTY FIVE PERCENT of the worlds oil.. and it has no intention of giving up the power buttisted jason recliners to leverage their fat arses up off the ground.. just so that defeloping nations can also have fridges.

So we get denial that the war in Iraq, reducing Iraq's oil output, can have a supply side effect on world prices, but the hurricane can! B^D

And on the demand side, we pretend that the Americans are not the greediest gas guzzlers on earth, consuming an order of magnitude more than the Chinese per head.. and try and suggest the Chinese are to blame for putting an embaro ON THEIR OWN OIL!!!

WHILE THE USSA GUZZLES EVERYONE ELSES! B^p

What a pack of flaming hypocrites!

"The PM said it would not be sensible to cut fuel taxes, arguing a 10c-a-litre reduction would cost $3.8 billion."

the GST is 12.6 cents a litre..

that means FOUR BILLION DOLLARS! 8^o

And the lying rodent claims there is 'nothing' he could do!?!????

"He also ruled out cutting the GST on petrol."

Lets hear his REASONS!

"I'd like to think that I could wave a magic wand and send the world oil price down, but . . . it is impossible for an individual country to alter the world price of oil on its own," Mr Howard said.

Same ole tired post Please support the PM in his moment of pain
Just JT Are you insane? I have never posted any of that before. The Newspaper...

Thats it? Thats the feeble bullpoo by which he claims to have ruled out cutting the GST on petrol????

"I'd like to think I had a magic wand.."

HE DIDN'T NEED A f***ING MAGIC WAND TO INTRODUCE THE GST!

Send Howard a message to stick his wand up his arse!

"..and send the world oil price down." well it would help if he hadn't destablized the ME, increased terror and reduced Iraqi oil output and market confidence.. but no one expects such an ineffectual dolt to have an positive influence on anything significant, let alone world oil prices.. all he has to do is STOP ADDING A TAX ON TOP OF A TAX ON TOP OF those world oil prices.

"Not even a country as powerful as the United States can bring about that change."

They can't even evacuate their elderly from the path of danger.

Even the ALP understands the PM's inaction;

"Petrol price gouging is hitting Australians hard, but an out-of-touch Government won't do a thing about it," he said.

"Practically the only person in Australia who has not seen this coming is the Prime Minister."

true;
