i think many would be expected to conform to standards they *believe* others in the community also subscribe to...
i regard that as being so of *any* group of people, as the great majority of people are sheep... it is well known in survey land that you will not get 'the truth' if 'telling the truth' is outside the expected conformity....
typically males will claim to have screwed far more partners or times than females... the best bet is that both are lying...one lot 'boasting' and one lot minimising so's not to be 'thought' slags..... thus in any such survey you get ridiculous figures that indicate that there are far more male screws than female screws per year... a ridiculous notion to anyone numerate..... however, such 'results' are commonly 'reported' in the fossil media without comment on the idiotic nature of the claimed figures....
likewise i would not expect honest answers on belief in sharia if hubby was standing close by..... or even perceived 'letting the side down' if the survey taker were not obviously a subscriber to muslimism.... they may even have similar problems females in anglo cultures in that they don't wish to admit doubts or reservations...
