Yes - extremely tasty!
I'm a bit confused here - there is no us and them. Tony is proud of his heritage, he brings it out himself at times, and why not. But he doesn't continually remind everyone he is aboriginal. We are just get along as we are.
Race riots in Australia Muslim victims 6144own reasonable people, however, have a duty to 1. identify the countries that have religion as their legal consbreastution. 2. identify the teachings in that relgion that are discriminatory because remember the...
I feel a bit sad for you (and I'm not trying to be condesending here) that you don't seem to have ever met people before who simply don't care about anothers race.
You know, people do have the ability to like each other as people only, and look past all the crap that is around. There doesn't have to be rascism or hate.
My little son once said to asked Tony why his skin was black (I remember he was about 3 at the time). Tony just said he was aboriginal, and my little guy simply said 'fair enough'. He couldn't care who was what he was - he was simply Uncle Tony who happened to be black - unfortunately he is now learning that hatred exists from others around him, and to be honest - it really peeves me off.
Sorry mate, but you have read it wrong. I took a guess at your heritage, and it appears I was correct. But that doesn't mean I have more or less respect for you than before.
I dont know you form a bar of soap, so how can I disrespect you as a Pakistani. Of course I don't agree with you, but so what - that's what newsgroup is about.
Where have I ever denegrated you because of your race? And if you have a beef with that, perhaps it is because others have disrespected you for being Pakistani, rather than me.
I couldn't really care what nationality you are - I do care that you think myself and other Australians are rascist.
It seems that there is some sort of cultural or experience barrier, or perhaps it's just because we live in different countries - between us, because I don't seem to be able to get the following point across.
We couldn't care if the gangs at Cronulla were Lebanese, Jewish, Australian, Eskimo, Pakistani or English.
The reaction to whomever it was that beat up the 2 female lifeguards would have been the same.
The riot (as it is called) happened because our law enforcement hasn't the balls, manpower or laws to stop the gangs attacking Australians - and most of this is due to a racially sensitive government whose policies seemed designed not to upset muslims.
Now take into account this - they gangs don't rape Muslims, they rape Australian because we do not follow the muslim ways.
It doesn't mean we hate muslims, just the bastard raping our women.
The members of the gangs are Lebanese, they are proud of the fact, and they will taunt Australians with this, even telling rape victims they will be raped Lebanese style because they are Aussie sluts.
Some Muslim leaders have said that Aussie girls asked to be raped because they get around in light airy clothing and dress too provocatively. Unfortunately , they don't realise that our clothing represents the fact that it gets bloody hot here in summer.
But we don't hate these people because they are Lebanese or muslim - and we don't hate all Lebanese and muslims - we hate the bastards in the gangs because of what they do.
Unfortunately - instead of sitting back and realising they are the scum of the earth and changing their ways, they use the current sensitive climate with fundamentalism (and face it - that is from the Muslim community) to try and throw this back on rascism.
How else can I say - it is not about race persay, or religion. It is about a loss of law and order, it is about these gangs total disrespect for Australians and their way of life, it is about the inability of Australian Police to stop them, it is about the inaction and indifference of the Lebanese leaders like Keysar Tran and the Muslim religion to come to terms with the problem and fix it, and it is about the frustration of Australian males who are no longer prepared to sit back and watch Australians intimidated, and young Australian women raped and buttulted in the most brutal and humiliating ways.
And in those Australians intimidated, I include the Lebanese who have had their churches burnt, the muslims who have to pay protection to the Tepola Street Boys, the middle eastern police who get the crap kicked out of them when trying to control the gangs.
If you can't understand that - or are not prepared to accept that, we are in a catch 22 situation.
snip (getting too long involved and confussing)
Is that an insult or compliment?
Get with the program - this has been good fun. I thought you were enjoying yourself as well.
To be honest - I wouldn't really mind if you did. We would probably get on pretty well.
You'd have to lighten up a bit though.
Cheers Artie
