It certainly is interesting that there are all these stories about people being sacked unfairly.. after all, that's why you get rid of unfair dismissal laws, so unfair dismissals can take place. Combine that with importing foreign workers and you have the perfect tory dream of pushing wages down by increasing supply of labour and making it fearful. Combine that with high interest rate repayments and rising fuel costs, which feeds into automatic increase of the GST tax gouge, and people can see their future under Howard.
