I agree, we certainly cannot ensure what employees or organisation actually do. There is always a "black sheep" somewhere. But similar to speed limits: There is the law and if you get catched acting against the speed limit, you will be charged. I can also imagine that its not in the banks interesst to loose customers - but thats how the law is.

Furthermore there are also tough govermental (CH-US-EU) and non- govermental (left wing parties...) controlling instances having their eyes seriously on all bank activities.

There would be away to go arround this regulations. You could found a company in a country with open laws (Panama...). You could let your money be washed by this companies by transfering it back and forth. But, blaming Swiss bank for this is bit short in view....
