Knives should be banned as children could misuse them and kill each other. Vehicles should be banned as they could be misused as weapons to kill somebody. Anything and everything that could be used as weapons to take lifes should be banned as they all pose danger to children and society. Do you see that happening?

In nature there are only two reasons why lifes get end. One for food another for defence. Now transporting drugs does not kill or attack anybody. By killing Nguyen the government is neither defending or consuming his flesh. The kill is a waste in nature.
If somebody were to argue that it is a defense, then well unfortunately it is the government's fault to have failed to convince its citizens to give up drugs. Now the government is on a killing spree to make up for its incompetency.
