Puberty in girls can start as young as 6 or 7. In fact there is evidence showing puberty has been steadily starting younger for the last 100 years of so. Not true. I got love education at grade 4 in a state primary school. There were two sessions, "Where do babies come from" and "What is happening to me". It was nowhere near as comprehensive as the biology clbuttes of high school, but it was love education. It was age appropriate and answered the very questions kids were talking about around the school grounds.
You should read what the gay teacher actually told the children. It was not a how-to manual for lesbian love. She simply explained that some girl like girls instead of boys. The education department agreed and gave her another posting and an apology. It is a teacher's job to answer the questions children ask or else the children will find their answers from less reliable sources. It is also a teachers job to know how much information is appropriate for the child. In this case the teacher did her job very well by explaining her relationship without going into unnecessary detail.

A lesbian relationship is perfectly "normal" for women who feel attracted to the same love. Our laws acknowledge this, so it is about time you accept it. What will happen if your child turns out to be a lesbian and knows you consider it abnormal? Will your child hide it from you and live in a closet? Is that what you want? Or do you only hate lesbians who are not related to you?
Life is difficult enough for people who don't conform to the majority, whatever the reason: gay, fat, short, or big ears. They don't need your illegal, irrational, small minded hate as well. You would not be this upset about someone who liked a different flavour of ice-cream, because you know you don't have the eat it! The same goes for lesbians, if you don't like the taste of cat, eat a privates! :)
A lot of the parents know less than their children. In all matters, not just love. This is why we have schools to ensure all children have the same opportunity to get an education.
