I disagree. I don't think a mardi gras exposes peoples bodies in a loveual manner. The participants don't lay on there back and open their labia with their fingers like the women in strip clubs. They may have some level of nudity, but that is not any different to going to the beach. Neither the beach or a mardi gras is about love in the way a strip club is.
School parents beware 3844EnjoyDialup I dont recall the last time I saw grown men wearing masks of political figures, engaging in simulated anal love in order to ridicule them, at the beach. I certainly...
It does if your going to compare the two events. They are significantly different, and will remain so even if you refuse to see it.
School parents beware 3846Don't misunderstand, it is a very valid point but it is a simple and obvious one. There are many arguments of both sides that go way...
They may offend up tight people like you, but they are not offending society as a whole. If they did they would be charged with offensive behaviour.
No according to the majority of people in Australia. Your in the minority. You may be a very vocal minority, but your views are no longer the views of the majority. When the mardi gras was a protect march your view was in the majority, and they did arrest the people taking part. You are however out of touch with current community values.
I've never seen a mardi gras people lay on their backs completly naked 30cm away from a mans face and open her labia withe her fingers. Have you? I have seen the show their breasts, just like the girls on any public beach do. big deal!
The government does not agree with you. ID is required in strip clubs not mardi gras.
Really? Then why aren't the parents who take there kids to see it arrested? Why is it only the small minded people who are complaining about it?
I'm not offended. As far as I can tell your the only one offended here. That being the case, perhaps you have the problem.
