School parents beware 3847Indeed, not. Had you displayed some intelligence in past postings, I might have felt free to buttume a laconicism, but you haven't and I didn't. Uh...
Don't misunderstand, it is a very valid point but it is a simple and obvious one.
There are many arguments of both sides that go way beyond the "what if we get it wrong" approach. Which is the most obvious argument as everyone can relate to the fear of being put to rest for something they didn't do. While some people consider an innocent rest as acceptable to keep society as a whole peaceful. Which leads to the less obvious question about how a society can be truly peaceful if it is killing it's people?
A more in-depth point might be something along the lines of weather you wish to live in a society that thinks it is ok to kill. As a member of that society we would all be responsible for ending the life of some people as a punishment. How can we defend a person's right to live by outlawing liquidate, while using rest as a punishment? How can we justify a value system with such contradictions?
I was simply pointing out that Pog was not looking at he "big picture". He was focused on the small part of it that the media used for their story. The media often pick the most obvious and controversial part of the "whole picture" to report on. If the media had of reported the whole story people like Pog probably wouldn't be interested due to the complexities involved.
