Rifty
I dont think you are thick Rifty, not at all.
But my point was that generally when a group of people are considered, it's the few bad apples that can spoil it for the majority.
However, in my opinion, there are definitely groups of people who are failry much not decent people, and it is rare to find a few good ones in such groups.
Sure..
Nyungars are, in my opinion, deprived of any cultural pride, and fit into the former group I mentioned above. Not because of what has happened in the past, but because of what they continue to allow to happen now. As a majority they are very violent, volatile and racist people dwelling on the past to continue the welfare and blame mentality they wallow in now.

Dreaming of TibetIf the people selected for interviewing in this documentary film are indeed representative of the people who want to return to Tibet free of Chinese rule, then it is clear...
I'll meet perhaps one or 2 a fortnight that I'd consider having a beer with (and do, Reuben Penny I met the other week, was a bloody decent bloke, didnt even want a beer when I offered). And I've been drinking with people out and about for the past 20 years or so. When I was young, I used to drink in the city with all the street kids, a large number of which were Nyungars.
But it's a rare thing to be able to sit down with a Nyungar and feel comfortable. I've sat down with Koori people and North west mob, and they are decent people - the Majority. It honestly seems to be a trait of the Nyungar mob, to be this way. Perhaps because they are a city mob, and dont live bush. I dont know.
I've even heard of Aborigines from up north distancing themselves from the southwest tribes.
I've met and encountered more violence for nothing, from Nyungars in Perth than any other group of people - this is inclusive of parents, children and young kids. Just look at the Martin family currently in the media now. Homeswest has had to evict that family numerous times due to complaints of anti-social and violent behaviour, but they claim it's all racism.
Obviously any evidence I provide is merely anecdotal, but as I said it's my opinion and the problem is I can remember too many instances of their violent and racist actions towards asian or white people than I care to recount here.
And just for the record, I am related to a north west Aborigine who has a beautiful family and I can sit with him and have a drink and a smoke no probs whatsoever. His Nyungar brothers (they have differetn fathers) are violent privatess, however, stealing cars and threatening us wetjala.
