Hardly surprising, as the Muslims revere Jesus, worship the same God and even affirm the Virgin Birth, something many Christians no longer take literally!
So is ferdie a Christian? he sure as hell doesn't act like one?
As usual he is just looking for any opportunity whine.
Christ was, after all, not only a man of Middle Eastern Appearance, but a Jew. His following was, from the outset, multicultural, containing both Jews and Gentiles.
He spoke Aramaic, His Gospels were written in Greek, and translated into numerous other tongues. His teachings are the essence of multiculturalism "Love One Another". He sent his disciples out into the world to bring Good News to all people.
Jesus was a multicultural Messiah! It was his dispensation which brought to a close the notion of a Chosen People, priests who would interpret the Word of God. In this era it is everyman and everywomans right and responsibility to investigate the truth of religion for themselves... the priesthood is defunct.
As in Islam, it is taking centuries for these changes to work through, not least the most important one.. the emancipation of women.
