ManMadeGod snip Fundamentalism in any form can be dangerous. But compare the following: Christian televangelist Pat Roberts make an asinine comment about buttbuttinating a foreign leader. Immediately, he is plantarded with scorn and reproof from throughout the Christian world. Islamic fundamentalists actually behead innocent hostages, and the Islamic world musters only a very few tepid objections from isolated quarters. But then there were widespread popular protests recently in Jordan against Islamic terror-liquidates there. So maybe it's different when it happens to "us" Moslims instead of "them" Christians who are getting end, at least to the average Jordanian.
It is that our media is engaged in politics. The Evangelical movement has not wanted to be a political force but by uniting they have become one. By attacking Robertson (an AG pastor), they attack all conservatives. It is just a form of shorthand much like using Rev Sharpton and Rev Jackson to speak for all blacks.
It is about who rules the US, not about what is being done in the world. Until journalists here in the US become targets of the Militant Jihadists will they react.
You might want to study up a bit on the distinction between the books of the Old Testament and those of the New Testament in Christian theology. You seem to be wholly unaware of the meaning and importance of that crucial distinction. Jeff snipped for brevity
