Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, due mainly to the high fertility rates of its mostly ill educated and backward adherents. The Kuran encourages men to produce more children by viewing their wives as "fields, and go to them as often as ye will." Most muslim clergy tell their congregations that the Kuran forbids any form of birth control. The result is that muslim countries such as Pakistan have astronomical birth rates.
In England, the number of practising muslims will soon outnumber the practising members of the Anglican church!
Given that Islam does not allow coexistence with any other religion, and that Islam stipulates that its believers spread it by the simple choice of "embrace Islam or die", what does this mean for all of us? I think it is clear what it means - we all will have to one day accept the fate of "dhimmis" (second clbutt citizens as described by the Kuran) in Islamic majority lands. And yes, this includes Europe, where the muslim population is growing much faster than the Christian one (most of whom are not churchgoers anyway and are more agnostic than Chrisitian).
Thus while Islam spread by the sword in its first phase of expansion, it is now spreading through explosive population growth. Unless this disease is stopped, it will spread and we will all be affected by it. And while we may have the tendency to fight one another, Islam makes no such distinction between any non muslim - every non muslim is an infidel, fit to be end or converted to Islam.
