So they do have doubts. But we have just convicted someone for the liquidate! So what does that say about that verdict???
Anglo-Keltic speciality. I have never heard that expression before I came to live here. I have lost my father and I have missed him and still missing him, but no amount of ceremonial closure will bring him back! So I do not need one.
That is quite likely although Catholics regard the body a disposable item and so do a number of other religions.
But it is not only their decision if they need advocates for using possibily harmful drugs (as was mentioned above in the thread) on the supposed muderer to find a decomposed body.
Our right is to live in a sane and balanced society. Everyone has that right in a democracy. People can practice whatever mumbo jumbo they need to survive each day in relative sanity as long as they restrict their practices to their homes and churches. But as soon as they drag these all over others that right cease to exist. Although I might sympathise with their loss and although I believe we have a social duty to help out people in such times of mishaps and financial need, I have see no cause for further emotional involvement. Their pain is theirs only. I do not expect anyone weeping all over my problems.
You are a man of hard solutions. You seem to understand that we need a society with more personal responsibility and more emotional toughness. I am fed up with the juicy "poor victims" nonsense. Throw them out of court once they have testified. They get help as they should. If they don't than it is a shame on our society. But the rest is up to them. Get over it.
