Gee the liberal government are such great financial managers.
The sweethearts allow me to salary sacrifice over $55000 into my superannuation to look after me when I retire early - the bastards take 15% of that as tax but that's another story. They also give me full family tax benefit for my two kids under 18 because I earn so little after putting the bulk of it in my super. Even better they send me a pharmaceutical health care card and an $500 mature age worker tax offset allowance. And because I put an extra $20 a week into my super they give me another $1500 a year for that too.
Due to frugal living my little darlings at TAFE and over 18 can claim FULL New Start Allowance - aren't they the lucky ones?
What makes me really happy is that my ex wife has to pay me more child support because my income is below the $36000 level when she would save 50c in every dollar I earn over that. Does life get any better than that? revenge and cash...
When I do retire in a couple of years I will still be able to work while drawing out my allocated pension (I could do that now but there is no benefit to me yet)
Even better when I do finally arrive at 65 as long as I don't draw out more than about $1300 a fortnight I will still get a part pension and all the benefits such as reduced telephone rental, rates, rego etc.
Thank goodness we don't have a government that looks after the poor, the unemployed, the mentally ill, the sick. much better to have a government so desperate for my grey vote they don't mind what it costs. (not that I vote for them anyway)
I know all the rabid liberal supporters in here will be pleased with their government's efforts to make my life so pleasant. I originally thought I would have to dip into my savings to support me but hardly any need though a couple of interest rate rises would be great too (oh how I yearn for the halcyon days of 17% interest - but another percent or so would be nice)
