No need to snip it, I'm only aiming at the "so-called refugees", not real refugees. The back-door approach needs to be closed in my opinion. Let EVERYONE get in on their own merits, and for no other reason. We can look after them until it's safe to go home, then they can go home and apply to get in on their own merits like every other bastard has to. What is wrong with that??? poo, I'd even go as far as to say let them apply from the detention centres, and if they wait like everyone else trying to get into Australia, in line like everyone else (instead of queue-jumping as they currently do), and pbutt on their merits, let them in that way, but f*** this express-way back door we seem to have open.
What is wrong with trying to be fair to legitimate immigrants? If we wouldn't take them if they had no problems at home, why take them because they do? Protect them sure, look after them sure, but then send them home when it's safe and let them apply like anyone else.
