David Moss David, the post you're responding to by the psychopathic "anonymous" is a selective cut and paste of bits of different posts on different forums that I and others have made over several weeks, quoted completely out of context, and attributed to me.
Here is the original post I made to alt.foster-parents,enbreastled "A Wonderful Thing Happened Today:
"I foster a 15 year old girl who has been desperately trying to locate her biological father. I've been counselling her, saying "you really need to think this through" and "he might not want to know you" and stuff like that. Finally, after months we found him... and how bizarre, he lives in the same town as us! So a wonderful thing happened today - he came to visit!
They spent *HOURS* just looking at each other, sometimes talking, sometimes not knowing what to say. She was told by her mother that when she was born he didn't want anything to do with her - he told her today his side of the story, and that not a day has pbutted without him wondering about her.
It reminds me what I learnt from my own children... that sometimes, our kids know better than us what they need.
I'm feeling so happy for her and for him (he's taking her to lunch tomorrow) - just wanted to share a good news story."
