What is our the Australia Legal System Based on

Hi everyone, below I have asked a number of very important questions that would help me greatly understand the parameters of how our Australia legal-political-financial-police-military system work. If you work in these areas, please feel free to give commentary to clarify any confusion. I'll summarise the questions here:

1What is our Legal System Based on? 2Can we have weapons to protect ourselves against 'persons'? 3What backs our money system? 4What protection to do we have against organisations? 5Are we enbreastled to a Trial By Jury in a Magistrate Court?

Say Yay To helping The Poor Corporation Of Telstra 3444
I have had a experience with a authorised Telstra reseller over the last few months that would make your hair curl, and your blood boil. The guy came in and represented himself as being...

************************************* 1What is our Legal System Based on? *************************************

I know the US has it's Consbreastution and Declaration of Independence which grants it's people sovereign rights, but do we in Australia have anything similar? Some "legal" words I've seen mentioned relating to the Australian legal system being:

Declaration of Independenace Consbreastutional Law Common Law Statute Law Magna Carta Law (way old skool) Martial Law English-Royal Law?

Suitably, does anyone know if:

Do we have laws were we can 'kick out' our existing government if found to no longer serve the needs of their people? Eg: if we believe the terrorism stuff is being mishandled (by say both labour and liberal parties agreeing on the same policy - hello.. where's the choice??) and we don't want police to walk down the street with machine guns in hand, or the Blackhawk helicopters, or to go to clubs and harbutt people with sniffer dogs and random searches for drugs and WMD (eg: bars, clubs, airports) and we are prepared to risk 'being protected' so we can have our freedoms to dance the night away with some chemical buttistance, if that's what we want to do?

Do we need a referendum to do this? Can't the bars-clubs just take vote of it's clients and if unanimously decided, can't they, without being disrespectful or creating a stack of trouble for themselves, legally tell the police with dogs to go away?

Who gave the police the authority to go and hbuttle people at clubs and bars anyway? I don't recall anyone ever asking me for my opinion on this or a referendum to see a 'public opinion' on this.

***************************************************************** 2Can we have weapons to protect ourselves against 'persons'? *****************************************************************

Do we have the right to bear arms for personal protection like the US folks, if suitably trained to Police skill levels AND undergo say quarterly 'mental stability' tests to ensure we are not a danger to our country mates like say Martin Bryant or Port Arthur fame?

eg: if Indonesia's 200 million people attack us, and we know they can get across coz we've seen them boatspeople, and we believe 13000 aussie police is not enough to protect us, even if they have fast V8 cars-boats, and we don't have a bunker to hide in. Not that I'd expect those peaceful Indonesians to do any such thing.

I would have expected the government would *hand out* guns to protect it's people if there is such a person threat and entrusted it's people to use them responsibly. Can we trust them to do the best by us? What should they be doing to do the best by us?

******************************* 3What backs our money system? *******************************

Do we have anything backing our money to give the people faith that it is worth something? Eg: gold, diamonds, oil, kangaroos, sheep) (eg: you say you can exchange $100 for 10 kangaroos as a standard measure of worth?) Otherwise is would seem to be just paper with the government's word it means something and we all just go along with it?!?!?!

How can the banks charge compound interest? If the system collectively has $100 in it and ALL of it lend out at say 5%, where will the person get the $5 to pay back? Maybe the person can print $5 on their colour inkjet printer and drop it back into the money system and everything's cool?

Then I look at my dream house, then look at myself and wonder, does my dream house really represent 25-30 years of work? Then I look at the prices again and realize something. I should just transform right now into possum and laying claim to a nice big tree near my favorite beach.

Otheriwse, at today's house prices I can't see myself ever owning my own two bedroom shack without selling off a few body parts. Then I'm in trouble coz I don't have a complete body to work from to pay the bloody interest that as far as I understand is make believe money anyway, but it's not make believe to me coz I gotta work for it else my credit rating is affected and then I can't borrow funds. I'll just continue to work with the aim of living in a public commission house when I'm old and wrinkled up, or some rich suga-mama to come along. Hey.. just got another idea there. Better not share that one!!

******************************************************* 4What protection to do we have against organisations? ********************************************************

What protection people have against organisation's changing the policy on us?

Eg: RTA installing speed cameras-red light cameras and not notifying us of the changes after we get out license. If public disclosure of changes of such practices hasn't happened does this not consbreastute a Breach of contract?!

Also, utility suppliers ALL simultaneously increasing costs without justification for it, approved by some Independent board?? Again is this not a contract? I'm told I get nothing more than I did before the price rises.. other than more rewards points on my credit card if I use it to pay the higher amount. If the infrastructure requires more money to support it, wouldn't it become better the following year so not so many so much money would be needed to attend to it? I haven't see a utility price decrease yet.. What's going on, are organisations dictating terms and conditions to us?

If Nicola Tesla had charged 0.0000001c per kilowatt to companies to license his invention of 3-phase electricity system he'd have enough money own this planet!!! It was so very nice of him to almost give this technology away to us for peanuts. Wish our mobile phone carries were so generous with mobile phone call charges. Yeah, they are getting better. Oh well, figure I should support the industry that supports me back.

************************************************************* 5Are we enbreastled to a Trial By Jury in a Magistrate Court? *************************************************************

THE ULTIMATE WAR IS NOW
In a recent interview with Dolores Kesterson, the neo-con operative Bill OâReilly has...

Do we have the right to 'Trial By Jury' in a magistrates court to contest traffic infringements, council notices or anything for that matter?

Seems like the magistrate is given executive authority in situations, especially when you go to contest against the council or police people. As they (Police, council, magistrate) are paid for by the government is this not a 'conflict of interest' on the part of the magistrate? I thought arbitration required someone impartial to either side? Given this is the case, and the magistrate in one way or another has financial gain if he fines a public member, wouldn't a jury or random public people represent the 'people's needs' and thus give a fair hearing in these cases based on 'what the public's' best interests are?

********* Comments *********

Just some questions.. curious as to how our Australia runs. In my opinion it seems idiotic.. it seem people get penalised for very human errors and the state can get away with anything with certain laws to protect it. I've got feelings and am not a robot.. poo I stuff up sometimes..Geez..maybe ADD even.. all those poor ADHD-ADD folk would cop a stack load of traffic-parking fines.

If I'm not mistaken, our 'system' doesn't appear to be supportive at all. It would even appear that it's either really badly designed or designed against my best interests at hand.

I'm gonna go listen to a bliss out 'MOS Chillout' music and pretend this somewhat a figment of my imagination. I'll use my stash of herbs and spices if necessary. Might wake up to a different perspective, though right now I doubt even this will blur those cops with guns from my vision at the clubs. How do they get past the metal detectors-body search by the security guards the door anyway? I wouldn't mind them being there if they wanna party with us.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Cheers, funkers11
