Errrr, you're starting to get scary now.... That's like a drunk saying "if I have more beer bottles my brewing tub will give me more beer!", the wise drunk (like myself) knows that the number of bottles don't mean poo if you can't fill them.
There's a reason a functional large-scale hydroelectric system requires a dam, it's for the pressure, so unless you're talking multiple dams at various points on the same river (yay, lets destroy more of the environment) your idea don't work, and I don't know if it would anyway after a certain point, gravity can only pull so hard. It also tends to f*** the water in a number of different ways (yet another plus for those greenleft knobs that think it's better than nuke power) not to mention the surrounding environment, and those fish ladders aren't all they're cracked up to be so Nemo ain't a happy guppy either.
Of course this is all coming from a drunken layman on the technology, so I could be talking poo, but I'm guessing I've got a bit more of a clue than yourself, just taking things at a very hazy face value of course.
