The story of Matt Hale
The FBI paid an informant to make friends with Matt Hale to make it seem like Matt Hale wanted Judge Lefkow end.
Hale's conviction was based on the following emails that could easily have been forged.
BEGIN Matt Hale e-mails an FBI mole and refers to Judge Lefkow's injunction as, "a sick, draconian order that in effect places us in a state of war with this federal judge."

The e-mail goes on to quote, "The White Man's Bible," written by the group's founder, saying that if the government interferes with them, "they then are obviously the criminals and we can treat them like the criminal dogs they are and take the law into our own hands."

CONTINUE Dec. 4, 2002: - Matt Hale e-mails the informant again, asking for Lefkow's home address and those of three attorneys involved in he trademark case. He later meets with the informant, who secretly tapes the conversation.
On the tape, the informant says he got the e-mail about, "you wanting his (address) and the other rats."
----------------------------- * The problem here, is that Judge Lefkow is a woman, so why is Matt Hale asking for "his" address? Matt Hale might have been referring to someone he wanted to send White Supremacist literature to. We will never know as long as the government forbids anyone to speak to Matt Hale, which is a violation of the Consbreastution. This is a very strange, unconsbreastutional case. Even convicted serial persons are allowed to speak. -----------------------------
CONTINUE "That information, yes, for educational purposes and for whatever reason you wish it to be," the transcript quotes Hale as saying.
"Are we gonna exterminate the rat?" the agent asks.
"Well, whatever you want to do, basically," Hale says.
A minute later, Hale says, "My position has always been that, you know, I'm going to fight within the law and, but, ah, that information's been provided if you to do, ah, do anything, yourself, you can. So that makes it clear."

Based on those emails and statements, Matt Hale was convicted of soliciting the liquidate of Judge Lefkow. Matt Hale is in solitary confinement at the Metro Correctional Center in the Loop, where he is not allowed to watch TV, read newspapers, listen to the radio or send and receive mail. Hale has no visitors other than his parents for an hour a month. They are accompanied by a federal agent.
Why don't they let Matt Hale speak? Could it be Hale was "set up" and falsely accused by the government?
Could it be that fake emails were sent making it look like Hale sent them? How many bogus posts have we seen on the newsgroups to make it seem like another person sent that post?
The Matt Hale case is similar to the Randy Weaver "set up" case that occurred in Ruby Ridge, Idaho a few years ago.
In that case, the government paid someone to go meet Randy Weaver to sell shotguns, which isn't exactly illegal for people living on farms. The government then spent taxpayer money not investigating real liquidateers, but instead launched a mbuttive siege against Mr. Weaver's farm house which resulted in the rests of Weaver's son and wife while holding her baby.
Randy Weaver was found innocent of the false charges against him. He later sued the government for killing his family and he received over a million dollars
