I'm going to be in Melbourne and Sydney in August. I've been learning the trumpet for some time and I've heard about the great effect that didgeridoo playing can have on the lungs.
So I'm interested to know where to go to get the right one and to get some starting lessons. On the medical site that I've been to they say that an acrylic digeridoo is the easiest to play and gives the best results. I'm sure that this is deeply offensive to genuine ant bored digeridoo players and, in particular, vendors. However, I'm keen to learn just how offensive this is, and why. I'd also like to understand how to select a good one for learning that will also be OK for later use when I have actually learned.
I'm not averse to the idea of buying two, one quick and dirty acrylic job and another for later more serious use, if I learn that that is a good idea. As, though, a raw prawn who might be tempted to buy one of the glossy objects sold in the Airport duty free shop, I'd really like a bit of more honest gen.
What should I be looking for?
