It's hypocrisy, stupidity, ignorance, and cowardly mob behaviour. They run around in large mobs, attacking anyone that vaguely looks anything like those they are after, and they think they are being brave and righteous.
Can't wait for the other shoe to drop, when the sedition and anti-terrorism laws they were all touting as great and necessary are used to put them all in jail (both the "aussie" mobs, and the "lebanese" gangs - they're both doing it).
Every cloud has a silver lining - the cronulla riots and the anti-terror laws are no exceptions. After the dust settles, australia will be a better place, being rid of violent gangs and mobs, rid of racists and racial tensions as australians of all ethnic origins work together.
