Like who? Was Habib convicted of anything in an Australian court? He was and is enbreastled to the same rights as you or I until or unless convicted of a crime. Are you saying it's OK to take matters into your own hands, free of all the normal restrictions that exist to protect civil society? The only way that could work would be in the most extraordinary of circumstances, not in a routine case of apprehending a suspect.

You have just created a great example of a contradiction in terms.
And your point is?
You are writing in a particularly obtuse manner - just come out and say what you mean instead of skirting round it. I said that people who advocate the right of police to beat people up are advocating police terrorism. Thus they *do* advocate person acts.
Utter nonsense. If they advocate terrorism by anyone within their own society, then they don't deserve to enjoy the rights that this society gives them. We are all protected by the rule of law, not by vigilante gangs.
If someone says that it is all right to violate the rule of law in this country by committing acts of terrorism against citizens, then they insult the society they live in and they can take the consequences in terms of criticism. This ng is not quite so precious as you make out.
