Are all women who wear bikini Christians? Are all women who claim to be Christian Christians? Are all Christian women holy or sinless? Just because a few 'Christian' women wear bikini, can we pbutt judgement on ALL women and blame the Christian religion? Just because one Christian committed a crime, do we judge ALL Christians to be a criminal? Is it because we see a (or more) 'Christian' woman wearing bikini, then we make a general statement or an buttumption that Jesus Christ teaches Christian women to wear bikini? As a Christian, I have never heard of a false teaching that says Christian women should wear bikini or exposed her body to the public. Women who truly believe in the teaching of Jesus Christ will not wear bikini. I hope this is clear to you. I've read the argument in favor of Muslim women wearing the headscarf, and I must say, I agree with it 100%.
Would it be all right for a Baha'i woman to wear a headscarf? Of couse she'd instantly be identified as a Muslim, which is misleading, but she'd probably receive less loveual lures and far less attention from men than without. A man once told me that even the hair and neck are alluring, and I'm sure there are other guys who agree.

Very good article, but I think it has some very deep errors in it. Jews do have a dressing code, which say "be modest". jewish maried women has also to cover their hair.I also think, that relogious christians also walk modest. I think that the reson for the de-dressing of the west come from liberal thinking and not from christan-muslim-jews laws. p.s. where in the islam the dressing code is writen? I must say "interesting", but you are very mis-informed about a number of things.
For ONE, the Christian God DOES require women to dress modestly.
That is "the unseemly parts" are to be covered.
Many don't know, but in Jesus Christ's day, the "gentiles" were given to walking around with little or no clothes on. The Jews were to be covered up, hiding their "private" areas. I do not recall off hand what Jesus said about clothing; but Paul was clear that women were to cover up. They were to cover their private areas (breasts, bottoms, love area), AND they were to cover their heads as well.
Your idea that Christian women have no rules concerning clothing is incorrect.
Your notion that the government follows the rules set by Christians is also incorrect.
