The right wing way is the only way, Leftism's psychological roots are low self-esteem, feelings of inferiority, feelings of powerlessness, defeatism, depressive tendencies, guilt and self-hatred. Some or all of these feelings act as the guiding force behind Leftists' political beliefs.
Leftists usually identify with groups that have an image of being weak (women), defeated (natives) or repellent (homoloveuals). Leftists would never admit to themselves that they have these feelings, but it's precisely because Leftists see these groups as inferior that they identify with them. For example, feminists are desperate to prove that women are as strong and capable as men are -- this is because feminists are nagged by fears that women may not be as strong and capable as men are.
Leftists despise anything that has an image of being powerful and successful: Western civilisation, America, white heteroloveual males. The reasons Leftists give for hating America and the West do not correspond to their motives. Leftists profess to hate America because it is warlike, imperialistic, racist and so on. But where these same flaws appear in socialist or primitive cultures, Leftists find excuses for them or at best GRUDGINGLY admit that they exist. Yet they ENTHUSIASTICALLY point out (and often greatly exaggerate) these faults where they appear in Western civilisation. The real reason Leftists hate America and the West is because they are strong and successful.
Also notice the masochistic tendency of Leftist tactics. They protest by lying down in front of vehicles and intentionally provoke police and racists to abuse them. These tactics are not used as a means to an end but because Leftists prefer masochistic tactics.
Art forms that appeal to Leftist intellectuals tend to focus on sordidness, defeat and despair. Otherwise they take an orgiastic tone, throwing off rational control as if there were no hope of accomplishing anything through rational calculation and all that was left was to immerse oneself in the sensations of the moment.
Leftists are anti-individualistic and pro-collectivist. They want the state to solve everyone's problems and to satisfy everyone's needs for them. Leftists do not have an inner sense of confidence that they can take care of their own needs. They can only feel strong when part of a large organisation or mbutt movement with which they identify themselves.
