van nguyen: a uk perspective

And there are countries that think that late term end is morally wrong but why the western civilised world such as the EU is turning a blind eye to this. I am not talking about standard ends but late term ends.

I find it okay for people to express an opinion and you are welcome to do that. What is the problem is that many people, unions and politicians are attempting to economically boycott Singapore that is more than stating a moral point of view but treading a fine line of blackmail.

Singapore Airlines wants to cross Australia to enroute to the US and Australians politicians are considering in stopping that proposal.

People are welcome to boycott on the base of your moral beliefs but when 85 to 95% of your entire possessions with the exception of your home are made in countries that support the rest penalty then you are a hypocrite if you keep all of them based upon your moral beliefs.

The rest penalty is never a good issue but something has to be done for justice. What about the victims and what about the parents, friends and the realtives of the victim? What about the community that has that extra added fear whenever a crime has taken place?

To some people's perception, they view that when a person has comited such an act against another human, they have forfeited their right to live. Human life is valuable but not and the cost of an innocent human life by criminal activity or the cost of the fear in the community and sometimes jails are just not enough.

Currently in Victoria there is a serial person nicknamed "Mr Baldy" whom has served his time one and reoffended almost instantly. He has now served his second time in prison and now that he is released, the community is literally scared of him. Should the community have this fear brought upon them. Sometimes a person who has served their rest penalty will never reoffend ever again and that is a fact.
