1841 Bridget arrived in Sydney on board the "Duke of Roxburgh" on the 10 Jan 1842. The Duke of Roxburgh had left London on 1 Aug 1841 (163 days) and Cork on 4 Sep 1841 (127 days).

The Duke of Roxburgh(e) was 416 tons, 3 masted square rigged ship that had been built in 1828 at St Peters Quay, Newcastle-Tyne. She was 113' 8" long 28' 8" in beam and had 5' 7" headroom between decks. She was owned by Money, Wigram and Co in London and on this trip was carrying "Sundrie and 231 Emigrants. Her Master on this trip was Mr. COLLARD. The Duke of Roxburgh(e) had made at least one trip to South Australia, arriving on 31 Jul 1838 from London

Bridget was brought out by Thomas Gore and Co. and was under the protection of Edward O'BRIEN who they had known a little of in Ireland. Bridget was a native of Tipperary, Nenagh, daughter of Mathew McGAN or McCan a labourer, a widower, her calling was a House Servant,age 22. The Person certifying Registry of Baptism was Michael P. O'Conner M.A. Tipperary. Character, and person certifying the same was Newton SHORT, Ballymena and Daniel MORGAN, Ballymena. State of bodily health, strength and probable usefulness was " Very Good " O'Neill Quinn MD, Nenagh

Bridget was Roman Catholic, could both Read and Write and had no complaints against her on the voyage. These comments were approved by S. WALCOTT and Certified for Charles Friend Lt RN Richard MORIARTY RN

Bridget stayed on board for 6 days after arrival and then went to work for Mr BAKER, George St, Sydney, for 10 pounds for 1 year. Rations, full.

Edward O'BRIEN, from Limerick, also had Sarah and Mary KENNEDY under his charge and had pledged to provide for them as well as a 12 month old daughter, Margaret. He had been the Hospital buttistant on board the Duke of Roxburgh(e) on the trip.

This position seems to have received remuneration at journeys end.

1846 Has a daughter Mary Teresa Renwick born in New South Wales.

1847 Daughter Mary Teresa christened at Mt Elrington near Braidwood.

1848 Daughter Elizabeth born in New South Wales.

1849 Daughter Elizabeth christened at Ballalaba near Braidwood.

1860 On 4th May a Bridget Renwick arrived in Sydney on board the General Nash from the Port of Geelong.
