What you decide on is up to you as price is the main consideration. You could use notepad or Win word any plain text editing program will do, however you will need to know some Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML). As said earlier if you all read have an index this will make things a bit easier for you as you can then cut and paste your index from one program to another and insert the HTML code where needed. You will find plenty of information on the internet about basic HTML, this is all you will need. Just remember will you are writing the Page up keep it in the text file and once you have finished then save it as either at HTM file or HTML file either will work in a web browser. This is not that easy as you are learning HTML as you go but it does save on the budget.
