The link to the National Archives site listed here gives some great information and is well worth checking out.

If you are in Sydney, the State Library of NSW has a couple of boxes full of correspondence including a list of the Dreadnought Boys and their ships!!

Be careful. Last time I looked the NAA was still listing Canon Rawson as the contact for the Dreadnought buttociation. He pbutted away some years ago. You should contact Olwen King, Treasurer, Dreadnought buttociation, 7 Elliott Ave Alstonville NSW 2477 or by telephone 02 6628 0522.

The Dreadnoughts have some publications for sale that might give you a good background including the definitive history by Prof Geoffrey Sherinton for $19 (last time I checked).

If you are in The Rocks area of Sydney there is a small plaque on a wall a metre or so off Argyle Street (it's actully in Kendall Lane, I think). It doesn't give any details but it might be something cool to check out. (I think I may have a photo of it somewehere. I'll send it to you off the newsgroup IF I can find it (no promises!)

If you are just after the name of the ship, the State Library is the go, although I think Olwen King has the same list.

Hi Gary, Not sure whether you have had an answer, as it may have been missed placing your request under another person's look up. Have found on...

Good luck.
