Eureka Genealogy software

Tucker Hi Marion, IMHO Eureka is a complete waste of time you would be far better off with Legacy, the standard version of Legacy is free, all you need to do is either go to their site at http--www.legacyfamilytree.com, register your self as a user and download the program, You will be sent a unlock code for the standard version. Or go to your local Magazine store and purchase one of the following Magazines "Practical Family History"or "Your Family History", both these Magazines have a selection of either Shareware, Demo or try Genealogy programs on their cover CD's plus they are a good read many helpful tips in them.

If at some latter date you decide to upgrade to the Deluxe version that's your choice, the deluxe version does had added features and any improvements between versions are free. This is not to say that is the only program you ought to use as each Genealogical program has it's own good points and unique features. There is also a Legacy user group as well, so if you have queries you can ask and nine times out of ten you will get an answer, Legacy also monitor this user group to see if there are any issues that need looking into as generally if there is a bug in the program they want to know about it and fix it and if there is no easy fix find a work around the bug.
