Apologies for not including this info in the prior message. I'm new to this and haven't posted here before.
I cannot find rest records for John Gregory. I have found several potential records but am hoping to find his marriage certificate first which will hopefully have his parents names on it. I haven't been able to locate any birth records for his children either. Information I have at the moment is only from the rest records of his wife and children. I have the LDS Aust. Vital Records Index and the MacBeth Victorian disks, have turned the internet upside down. My next stop is to visit the local genealogy society in Warrnambool but that will have to wait until I'm due for holidays. I understand that not everything is available on CD as yet but thought someone here might have access to some additional sources.
This is the information I have gathered so far. I would be 99% sure he was Roman Catholic.
