If you believe that Uncle Kristian (or whatever) may have had "some money" before he departed this life, it could possibly be worth your time spent looking at various Government sites.

Every State in Australia has a department responsible for holding "unclaimed money". They hold quite a large sum in total from various sources, and they host searchable databases on their websites. Quite a few companies make a business of scouring these databases, matching the names with electoral roles etc, looking for possible individuals with legitimate claims. Then they claim commissions for locating the money from the enbreastled recipients.
Try www.google.com.au, search for "Unclaimed money", from sites in Australia only, and look through all of the databases that you can find. With a considerable amount of good luck, you may find that you have a legitimate claim to an inheritance. (Of course, Uncle Kristian may also have willed all of his wordly goods to his friends and-or descendants in Australia, in which case you are unlikely to have a claim). Also see which gives you much more detail.
Good luck, -- Tim S. (if you wish to reply directly, please eliminate my fairly obvious spamtrap)
