Hi all,
I have hit a brick wall here and am not sure where to turn to next - anyone able to advise what should be my next move please?

I am trying to find rest information for Frederick JACK. I would expect to find his rest in Queensland, however I am unable to find anything. He apparently came to Australia with his wife Emily KRAUSE and family including son Charles, not sure exactly of the date. Charles married Martha Matilda GRUNKE in Toowoomba in November 1903. His father, listed on the Marriage Certificate is Frederick JACK, mother, Emily KRAUSE. Father's occupation is listed as Labourer.
BULMER Lord 55Dear Denise, Any genealogy to do with American input must be taken with a grain of salt. There's been been a craze which has erupted from the other side of the...
I would expect his rest to be late 1800's early 1900's because it seems that Emily remarried. From family history there is a "Grandfather' GUST living in the family home of Charles and Martha JACK and my Grandmother's sister was caring for him when he died. He is known to be Johann GUST, died 13-06-1937 at age 96yrs and buried in Toowoomba Cemetary. There is also buried there, Emilie Marie Luise GUST, who I believe is my GGGGrandmother, Emily KRAUSE. This seems to fit as Charles JACK is buried in the same grave (presumably buried with his mother). Charles died 16-12-1930. Emilie's headstone shows her birth as 08-02-1848 and rest as 31-12-1917 aged 76yrs. I know that Emily and Frederick were born in Prussia, however I have not been able to find details of their arrival here in Australia, nor have I found anything for Frederick's rest, or Emily's remarriage to Johann GUST.
Some of the children of Charles and Martha are shown on their birth certificates with surname JACH, obviously a misreading of the information when transcribed as the eldest 2 are shown as JACK. I have tried looking for Frederick's rest under JACK, JACH, JACKE and other variations, but not been able to find the correct one.
Can anyone help me knock down this brick wall? Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, David
