Thanks Sherrie every little bit helps.

I spent some time down the council office today, trying to find out what info they had on who is exactly in the grave and if they have any more details to help me out.

Not a lot of info just more confusion...lol

No record of Donald & Jane McArthur and children for this plot...(But I have seen the plot and have photo of large headstone :-) I use their plot number to find it. ..so we are talking right grave

Hugh Cameron is buried 3 plots away according to their computer records (Hugh Cameron buried 23-7-1871 aged 60 years)

In the plot according to the computer records are..... (Catherine Cameron buried 6-9-1879 aged 80 years) and wait for it :-) (Frederick David Stone burred 13-6-1875) no mention of him on the headstone.

Hi Kevin, The following entries are all I could find. Hope they help you. From...

Also Hugh Cameron Catherine Cameron ----------------- =======================

All is not lost...there must be some connection but what and I need that one piece to make sure Catherine is my G....Grandma.

When I got home I did some searching for Stone "Frederick David Stone" to see if I could find some sort of connected with "Stone" Found this, a Publican Licence for a David Blair Stone....on its own its not much but we have a connection to the area (G..Grandfather....Catherine Cameron's grandson was married there) and Angus McEACHERN is a G..uncle.

========= 1861 - In the Digby Court of Petty Sessions, 23 Apr 1861, Angus McEACHERN of Hotspur applied for and was granted a General Publican's Licence for the Crawford Inn at Hotspur. Surities were - Thomas Henry CLARKE of Merino and John STOCK of Hotspur. On the 11 Sep 1861 the Licence was transferred to David Blair STONE with the surities being Alfred T FARLEY, Digby and Thomas INVERARITY, Digby. ========

Don't you love Genealogy :-)
