Hey, jump on the bandwagon and attack me when all I've done is inform the poster of the normal rules of usenet usage! So, because I haven't been on this list for very long means I have no right to suggest to others how usenet works? Hell, I've been around usenet since 1998 so I don't give a damn whether you think I have any right to comment here. And what the hell does it matter whether I use an anonymous email addy? If you really think it's important, I'll give you every detail of my entire life but what the hell has that got to do with my point? You are completely incorrect in saying that the original post is headed whatever - you also obviously don't understand the difference between an originating post and a follow-up. Surely you agree that this group, along with every other, would quickly become very confused if everyone posted original queries as follow-ups to unrelated posts, rather than as original posts. It's in the best interests of the poster too as they would appear to more people, not just those who chose to expand threads. But, in the end, hell, abuse me all you like, I really don't care. Anyone with any knowledge of usenet will agree with my simple original suggestion to this poster. I owe no-one an apology and my suggestion was helpful to Katie, so get f***ed!
