Sure, not a problem - but what I don't think you or anyone else here truly understands is that I don't give a poo whether you think any of my comments were "facetious (although an incorrect use of the term) and obnoxious). And there's nothing any of you can do about it other than KF me! Face it, that's usenet. If I choose to come here and help people, I will.
If I suggest that someone could improve their chances of getting responses by posting original threads rather than posting incorrectly as a reply, then I will - and I was correct in doing so.
If someone abuses me for doing so and wrongly insists I apologise, I will respond.
This crap started because I resented being abused for telling someone typical posting protocol for usenet - which I originally did without abuse - and for telling me I owed the poster an apology, which I did not. Yet, here, we have both you and Lindsay telling me exactly the same thing! Gee - is someone going to now attack you both and ask who made you God, and insist you apologise to me? Not that I give a damn; I merely thought it ironic!
