My grandfather was one of the males.
I would like birth dates of children and if Susan died in NZ.
David was the first Bank manager for Bank of NZ at Omaroo in 1861 he returned to Australia around 1870 but I can't find what happened to Susan.
Also what year David and Susan arrived in NZ. and shipping details of when they departed NZ. Hi Judy, There only two ways that you are going to get the requested information for the children and they are from another family member or you buy the certificates, this means you look up the micro fiches and find the year they were born and note the index numbers and then you buy the certificates. Looks as if you also need to get the Intention to marry for David and Susan, this ought to tell you how long they had been in the area, so this can be a guide as to how long they had been in New Zealand in 1865. As for Susan she may have died pre 1870 so I would look at the rests index's for the Nelson area first, then look at those in Australia secondly. When ordering the certificates request the Genealogical copy as this is a copy of what is in the registrars book.
