The following statistics relate to some of the crimes committed by the Irish convicts transported to New South Wales during 1830. It also includes those Irish living on the English mainland as well as some convicts with an English native place who were tried in Ireland. The combined total is 1129.
However for those whose convict only stole a spoon or a handkerchief there is no need to ponder through numerous devilish deeds.

There were various other offences under the Insurrection Act which I haven't thoroughly detailed i.e. maiming, firearms etc.
