Hello All,
For those who might be interested in the crime statistics of Irish convicts who were transported to Sydney, NSW mainly between 1825-1828, the following list may be of some help. 'Keywords' for various crimes can be extracted & then entered either in the normal search page or the advanced search option.
Although the advanced search option is slower, it allows a specific limited search to be undertaken.
My above meaning of an Irish convict is one who was either tried in Ireland (whether Irish or not) or gave an Irish placename as his-her Native Place when tried outside Ireland eg England. Those native Irish who were convicted in Europe or India tended to be in the military.
Regards, Peter Mayberry Tuggeranong ACT Australia
