Hi Vicki and Sandra

Thanks for the suggestions,

I have my dad's birth and rest certificates, I also have my uncles birth and rest certificates,. Yes he was the one that died 1973.

I also have the marriage certificate for my grandparents.

As all my uncles children are now deceased, I am looking for info on his grandchildren. I have some names but as they are still living, I will not post them on the web.

As my dad grew up in the Freo area, and his brother resided there until his rest I am hoping there might still be people around that remember my uncle or his family.

I am hoping to learn more than just the BDM, I know my uncle served in WW1 and was seriously injured but what he did as a living on his return until his rest is unknown. I want to get to know the people behind the names so to speak.

While dad was alive he rarely spoke about his family, and the info I have found on his dad does not seem to add up, so am hoping a missing rellie may know more.

Rules for our ancestors
I found this on a genealogy topic on ebay and thought I would share it. Rules for our ancestors -OR- How to confuse your descendants...
