I'm sorry to hear your bad news. You have sent in your paper work and at the moment your still living together so you might even get your letter from DIMA on Monday. I'm sure your have your PR very soon and maybe your wife has waited so you can get your PR and she nos its coming any day now so thats a positive.
Like the many hundreds of us Pommies who marry and move to Australia If your relationship goes in a bad patch unlike others we are in a group who come over here with all our family back in the UK, or good friends. like send migrants who normally come in a family group there have each other.
I'm in the same boat i came to Australia with my Australian Wife and all my family are back in the UK we have had moments were shes kicked me out for a couple of nights and thats when its times like this it hits that we are very alone here us spouse migrants, i can relate to your situation but you may find like others who are married when it comes to the crunch she stills loves you and wants to stay or your end up and the local park thinking do i stay or go back.
