Hi, not really able to give too much advise, im no expert. Just wanted to say jhi and I see your from RSA. Were ex South Africans as well, ot living in aus but living in NZ. Hope you get to go to aus, its a big move, difficult sure but the potential is so much better in aus.
some clauses seem a little harsh, the starting date, annual leave enbreastlement only after one year, not specifying % contribution to super, stating you HAVE to return to your country of origin if contract is ended and the clause about you having to live in accommodation they provide and them deducting pay from that.
The accommodation clause does not need to be written like that, at the moment it reads that yu cannot even choose where you want to live. Its ok if they want to put you up in a motel or something for the first month while you look for a place to live, but really, you would want to choose your own home long term wouldnt you, and what you want to pay for it.
Having said that the fact that this is there first sponsorship seems to indicate they are willing to help you settle in aus, maybe the contract seems harsh because its their first go at it.
